NOTRE DAME PREP NAMED TO TOP 100 NATIONAL LIST

Notre Dame Prep's upper school once again named one of the top high schools in the U.S. and the only Michigan school on the National Speech & Debate Association's Top 100 list.

Last week, the National Speech & Debate Association announced the Top 100 Schools for the 2024-2025 school year and Notre Dame Prep's upper school debate program once again earned entry in the annual designation. And, for the second year in a row, NDP is the only school in Michigan on the list. 

Students from member schools earn degrees in the Honor Society by participating in competitive speech and debate events, community service, leadership roles, volunteering and more. Earning points and degrees in the Honor Society helps students showcase their talents, skills and dedication to speech and debate.  

“Speech and debate is a critical activity that underpins all educational goals,” said J. Scott Wunn, Executive Director of the National Speech & Debate Association. “We are proud to recognize these schools for their dedication to speech and debate in their schools and communities.”
