Andrew Ferrari, who most recently was varsity assistant and offensive coordinator for the boys team, comes to the head coaching position with experience at Utica Eisenhower, Atom Lacrosse and M53 Lacrosse.

The athletic department of Notre Dame Preparatory School announced this week that Andrew Ferrari has been named head varsity boys lacrosse coach, effective immediately.

"We are excited to have Andrew take over our boys varsity lacrosse program and feel he is the perfect fit for our community," said Aaron Crouse, NDP's associate athletic director. "In addition to the on-field success our team has enjoyed while serving as assistant and OC, he has been instrumental in building a mission-centric culture in the program over the past four years. The positive energy that he brings to practices and games is second to none and we are looking forward to seeing him continue to build our program while also making it his own in the head coaching role."

Ferrari takes over from Roger Soulliere, who left the position after last season to spend more time with his growing family.

Ferrari has been assistant varsity coach and offensive coordinator at NDP since 2021 after serving as the varsity head coach at Utica Eisenhower High School in Shelby Township where he was a three-time MHSAA regional finalist.

He also is cofounder and instructor at Atom Lacrosse, one of the premier instructional institutions in Southeast Michigan, and also holds the position of coach at Troy-based M53 Lacrosse, leading 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U and 18U teams.

Currently a resident of Grosse Pointe Woods, Ferrari holds a bachelor's degree in information technology from Central Michigan University and studied aeronautical and astronautical engineering at Western Michigan University.

Professionally, Ferrari is employed as a technical account manager for Yottaa, Inc., a software company based in Boston, Mass.
