Notre Dame Prep graduates again excel in acceptances to the University of Michigan, which this year is bringing in only 18% of applicants.

Notre Dame Prep's Class of 2024 graduated May 19.

The University of Michigan set another application record for the upcoming fall 2024 semester, surpassing 100,000 for prospective first-year and transfer students. The Ann Arbor university saw more than 105,000 applications, including more than 98,400 just from first-year students, according to university officials, who also said its acceptance rate this year was about 18%.

Seniors in Notre Dame Prep's Class of 2024 once again featured a relatively large number of U-M acceptances at 25 with seven accepted into the university's even more selective Ross School of Business.

In addition to Michigan, a total of 123 of the finest colleges and universities across the country have accepted NDP Class of 2024 graduates so far, including the University of Notre Dame, Brown, Cornell, Dartmouth, Duke, Case Western, Johns Hopkins, MSU, Northeastern University, Pepperdine and UNC Chapel Hill among others.

While the overall University of Michigan acceptance rate currently is around 18%, it fluctuates every year up or down based on the number of applications received versus the number of students accepted. A lower acceptance rate typically indicates a higher level of competition for admission.

Michigan is noted for its rigorous selection process, ensuring that only the most talented and driven individuals gain admission. Reflecting its commitment to academic excellence, the University of Michigan acceptance rate is highly competitive, demonstrating the high standards.

According to the latest QS World University Rankings 2024, the University of Michigan ranked 33rd with an 81.7 score. According to U.S. News & World Report, Michigan ranks 19th globally and 21st among national universities. Its exceptional academic programs and research opportunities have contributed to its strong reputation and high standing in the rankings.
