JASON VALENZUELA NAMED NOTRE DAME FUND GIFT OFFICER

Newest member of the advancement staff will help strengthen the Notre Dame Fund and enhance opportunities for Notre Dame Prep students.

Notre Dame Preparatory School is pleased to announce the appointment of Jason Valenzuela as Notre Dame Fund gift officer, bringing experience in fundraising, alumni engagement, relationship management and community building.

In his role, Valenzuela will work closely with parents, alumni, grandparents, staff and friends of Notre Dame Prep to strengthen support for the school’s annual fund and grow leadership-level gifts through the St. Peter Chanel Society.

Through meaningful conversations and personal connections, he will help advance philanthropic support that directly benefits students, faculty, programs and the overall mission of the school.

“Giving back to a community of Catholic faith is my ministry and I am overwhelmed with excitement and gratitude to have the opportunity to join the team here at Notre Dame Prep,” Valenzuela said.

Valenzuela has dedicated much of his career to building lasting relationships and creating opportunities for communities to invest in educational excellence. He previously served as alumni director at Damien High School in La Vergne, Calif., where he developed engagement initiatives, organized fundraising events and strengthened connections between alumni and their alma mater. His professional experience also includes leadership roles in youth athletics and marketing, where he cultivated partnerships and inspired community involvement through a shared commitment to student development.

A graduate of Saginaw Valley State University with a degree in business administration, Valenzuela is known for his collaborative approach, strategic thinking and passion for connecting people with causes that matter. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a talent for fostering meaningful relationships and helping organizations achieve ambitious fundraising goals.

"Jason brings a unique combination of fundraising experience, relationship-building skills and genuine enthusiasm for mission-driven work," said Greg Mallek, vice president for advancement. "His ability to connect with people and inspire support will be a tremendous asset as we continue to strengthen the Notre Dame Fund and advance opportunities for our students."

Valenzuela joins the NDP advancement office, which also includes the marketing and communications team and alumni and parent relations. It is located across from the NDP main campus at 1389 Giddings Road in Pontiac.
