Notre Dame Prep parent Maria D'Agostini Lukosavich is a real estate professional with D’Agostini Companies, a land development and general contracting firm in Sterling Heights.

Notre Dame Preparatory School announced today that Maria D'Agostini Lukosavich has agreed to serve on the Board of Trustees building committee, effective immediately.

According to school officials, Lukosavich, who is the mother of four current Notre Dame Prep students, will be an invaluable resource to an important board committee.

“Maria comes to the board highly recommended," said Stephen V. Pangori, chair of NDP's Board of Trustees. "She is a licensed attorney and builder in Michigan with many years of real estate experience.  As we look to the future with a number of potential campus building and infrastructure improvements on the horizon, her contributions in the areas of engineering and design along with her longtime experience in permitting and managing contractors will be critical for Notre Dame Prep."

Lukosavich joins the building committee with more than 15 years of residential and commercial building and real estate experience.

"My focus has been primarily in the design, entitlement and construction of industrial, residential and commercial buildings and developments," said Lukosavich, of Sterling Heights-based Mode Development, Inc. a D’Agostini Company.  "I am intimately aware of the various stages of the construction process.  I’m hopeful my talents will make a meaningful contribution to NDP as new construction projects take shape."

Now serving as head of the commercial construction team for D’Agostini Companies, Lukosavich has been a licensed builder in the State of Michigan since 2004 and is a member of the Southeast Michigan Building Officials and Inspectors Association and the NAIOP Commercial Real Estate Development Association.

A graduate of Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in construction management, she also holds a Juris Doctor degree from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School. In addition, after acceptance to the Michigan State Bar Association, Lukosavich practiced as a small claims judge for the Michigan Tax Tribunal and was admitted to the practice in the United States District Court Eastern District of Michigan in 2012.

She is a resident of Oakland Township with her husband, Michael, and five daughters, four of whom currently attend Notre Dame Prep with the youngest set to join the school's Pre-K program in the fall of 2024. They are parishioners at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Rochester, Michigan.
