Kate Fox NDP’22 returns to Notre Dame Prep as director of alumni and parent relations.

Just four years after graduating from Notre Dame Prep, Kate Fox NDP’22 is returning to her alma mater in a new role dedicated to strengthening connections among alumni and the school she calls “a second home.”

Fox was recently hired as the school’s latest director of alumni and parent relations. A recent graduate of Grand Valley State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, Fox brings a passion for storytelling, relationship-building, and community engagement to the Advancement Office.

For Fox, the opportunity is more than a career milestone, it is a chance to give back to a school that helped shape her life.

 “I’m excited to come back and help strengthen the connections that make this community so special while creating opportunities for alumni to stay engaged with the school for years to come,” she said.

A lifelong member of the Notre Dame family, Fox grew up immersed in the school community as the daughter of longtime head coach Pat Fox, who retired following the 2025-26 school year after 12 seasons leading the Fighting Irish football program.

In her new role, Fox will work to deepen relationships with alumni and parents through meaningful events, engaging storytelling initiatives, and programs that celebrate the accomplishments of NDP, Notre Dame High School, Pontiac/Oakland Catholic, and St. Frederick/St. Michael graduates. She also hopes to create opportunities for alumni to connect with current students through career panels, networking events, and mentorship programs that showcase the lifelong value of a Catholic education.

“Kate understands firsthand what makes Notre Dame Prep special,” said Greg Mallek, the school’s vice president for advancement. “As a recent graduate, she brings fresh ideas, strong connections with fellow alumni, and a deep appreciation for the power of community. We are excited to welcome her back and look forward to the impact she will have on strengthening relationships across our Notre Dame family.”

In addition to her work with alumni, Fox will serve as the Advancement Office liaison to the Parents Club, helping coordinate key events and initiatives that bring families together and foster school spirit.

As she begins this new chapter, Fox is eager to help alumni from Notre Dame Prep and its five heritage schools remain connected to one another and to the institution that continues to shape future generations.

“Notre Dame Prep played such an important role in my life,” Fox said. “I’m honored to return and help ensure that alumni, parents, and students all feel connected to a community that lasts well beyond graduation.”
