Established in 2024, the Notre Dame Prep Athletic Hall of Fame serve as a means of honoring the athletes, coaches, and contributors who have made a significant contribution to the Notre Dame Prep athletic program and school community. Members of the Notre Dame Prep Athletic Hall of Fame should be role models of the Notre Dame Prep mission statement “With God we form Christian People, Upright Citizens and Academic Scholars” in addition to their athletic achievements and contributions.

Notre Dame Prep Athletic Hall of Fame Bylaws and Qualifications

For the inaugural year (Class of 2024), Notre Dame Prep Athletic Hall of Fame nominations are due by November 1, 2024. The inaugural Hall of Fame Class will be announced no later than December 20, 2024. 

Qualifications for ALL Nominees: All nominees must be members of good standing within the Notre Dame Prep community. Notre Dame Prep reserves the right to remove any Hall of Fame member who displays any character or conduct that compromises the mission statement of the school or Catholic faith. All Hall of Fame members are obligated to serve as a Catholic role model for students, and may not engage in, nor endorse publicly, any actions or beliefs contrary to the teachings, standards, and doctrines of the Roman Catholic Church.

Qualification for Athletes: Must be a graduate of Notre Dame Prep High School and a minimum of four (4) years removed from graduation. In rare occasions, special consideration may be given to athletes who passed away prior to graduation or who left the school due to circumstances beyond his or her control prior to graduation.

Qualification for Coaches: Must have served a minimum of 10 years in the Notre Dame Prep Athletic Program. May be active or inactive.

Qualification for Contributors: Must have demonstrated a long-term contribution, combining both volunteer time and expertise, to the Notre Dame Prep Athletic Program. May be active or inactive.
