Alumnus, parent, coach and community leader joins the advancement team as major gift officer, helping strengthen support for future generations of Notre Dame Prep students.

Notre Dame Preparatory School is pleased to welcome Dan Fuoco, a 2003 Notre Dame High School graduate, as major gift officer, bringing with him a lifelong connection to the school community and a passion for strengthening the mission that helped shape his own journey.

In this role, Fuoco will work closely with parents, alumni, grandparents, faculty/staff, and community supporters to advance philanthropic initiatives that enrich student life and support Notre Dame Prep’s continued growth. His efforts will help sustain the school's commitment to academic excellence, faith formation, athletics, the arts, and campus development.

For Fuoco, whose children also attend NDP, joining the Office of Advancement is “a full circle moment.”

“I’ve been given an incredible opportunity to build upon the legacy, values, and sense of purpose that helped shape who I am today,” he said.

Since graduating from NDHS in Harper Woods, Fuoco has remained deeply connected to the Marist mission. His dedication to serving students and families has been evident through his leadership on the NDP Booster Club and his role as head coach for two Birmingham Hockey Association teams.

Known for building authentic relationships and bringing people together, Fuoco will play an important role in strengthening connections across Notre Dame Prep. His work will focus on fostering meaningful engagement with alumni and philanthropic supporters while helping ensure future generations of students have access to the transformational Catholic education that defines the Notre Dame Prep experience.

“We are thrilled to welcome Dan to the advancement team,” said Greg Mallek, vice president for advancement. “His knowledge of the Notre Dame community, enthusiasm for our mission, and exceptional ability to build meaningful relationships will be tremendous assets as we continue to grow and strengthen support for our students and families.”

As an alumnus, volunteer, coach, parent advocate, and now member of the Advancement team, Fuoco's return reflects the enduring strength of the Notre Dame Prep community and the lasting impact of a Catholic education rooted in faith, service and lifelong connection.
